A roundup of editorials Tuesday warns that killing the Clean Power Plan will give us no economic boost. It will, however, give us dirty air.

Opinions from the Left:

1. The E.P.A.’s Smoke and Mirrors on Climate

From The New York Times: Will the savings from killing the CPP end up killing us all?

2. Maine will suffer from Pruitt’s pro-coal stand

From CentralMaine.com: Reversing the CPP won’t give us freedom from regulations, it will give us dirty plants.

3. Economics, Not Regulations, Are Waging a War on Coal

From Greentechmedia.com: The coal industry has a problem, but it is not too many regulations.
