‘Political Rewind’ replay: A flaming interstate and Sixth District commuters

Two-fifths of your panel was pretty much wasted by the final, 25-hour day the Georgia General Assembly put in on Thursday. Nonetheless, today’s edition of GPB’s “Political Rewind” took a stab at the successes and failures of the 2017 session: A blocked adoption bill, a failed effort to legalize fantasy sports contests, and a guns-on-campus bill.

Oh, yeah. And a flaming Interstate 85 that now comes to a dead stop at Monroe Drive. Sixth District commuters could be an angry bunch by April 18.

If you couldn’t catch it live, listen to it now:

Today’s panelists: Host Bill Nigut; yours truly; fellow AJC Insider Greg Bluestein; Republican consultant Loretta Lepore; and David Dennis, a journalism professor at Morehouse College.
